AMFT - Under Supervision of Jennifer Kuebler and Jenn Lofft

As children and teens grow, it’s natural for them to encounter moments that feel overwhelming or too big to handle alone. These challenges might show up as anxiety, difficulty with attention or focus, social struggles, changes within the family, or pressures at school. They may also have a hard time navigating emotions or connecting with others. When these experiences go unaddressed, they can begin to impact a child’s confidence, relationships, and overall well-being. You don’t have to navigate this alone. Your child doesn’t have to either. I work with children and teens by meeting them where they are and creating a space where they feel safe, understood, and supported. Whether a child is struggling with anxiety, ADHD related challenges, finding their place socially, or low motivation,  I help them build insight, strengthen emotional awareness, and develop practical tools to navigate their world with greater confidence.

About Caitlin

I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology. Before joining Beacon Family Therapy, I provided individual therapy in middle and high school settings, supporting students through moments when something felt off, overwhelming, or difficult to put into words. These experiences shaped my approach of slowing down, tuning into the present moment, and working together to understand what a child or teen is going through and how to move forward in a way that feels meaningful.

I value working not only with adolescents, but also with their families. I aim to foster connection, strengthen communication, and support each child in developing skills that feel authentic and tailored to who they are.

My work is grounded in evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Person-Centered Therapy. I take an eclectic approach, integrating mindfulness, Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and creative interventions when helpful. At the core of my work is authenticity. When children and teens feel safe to be themselves, meaningful growth can happen.

My hope is that each child or teen I work with leaves therapy feeling more understood, more confident, and better equipped to manage anxiety, navigate relationships, and handle life’s challenges both now and in the future.

Outside of being a therapist, I enjoy spending time with loved ones, iced coffee from Dutch Bros, relaxing by the water, live music, going to the gym, and cheering on women’s sports (Go SD Wave FC!).
